Christopher Rice Book Signing

Friend of LAist (you didn't know we knew such cool people did you? Well, we do, even if only virtually), Christopher Rice will be reading and signing his new novel, Light Before Day, at the Border's Books and Music on La Cienega in LA tonight at 7:30 PM(and as an aside, how much does google local integration with google maps rock right now?).

Are we allowed to say that we like Christopher's writing more than his mom's? If we weren't on doctor's orders to get as much bed rest as possible, we'd be there tonight to get Christopher to sign for us so that we could sit it next to our signed copy of Lasher that we got, whoa, 10 years ago from the other Rice in the family.
