If you haven't been able to get your hands on James Stewart's "Disney War," you should be able to buy one at the Central Library tonight when the author converses with Marty Kaplan, Director, Norman Lear Center and Associate Dean, USC Annenberg School for Communication, about dramatic, inside story of what drove America’s best-known entertainment company to civil war. During the Q&A ask the prize-winning journalist if Bob Iger wears boxers or briefs.

Historically, Pasadena has been a city that nurtured architectural creativity -- from the artist’s culture that flourished during the Arts and Crafts Movement, to the high standards of design perpetuated by architects such as Myron Hunt, Wallace Neff, Reginald Johnson, and Roland Coate in the 1920s and 30s, through the Modern era. This drive-yourself tour will feature six private residences, including the work of Harold Zook, who worked for Modernist icon Albert Frey before settling in Pasadena; Leland Evison, who started his career as a draftsman for Craftsman architect Myron Hunt; Buff, Straub, & Hensman, an influential firm which left a lasting impact on Southern California; and Kelsey and Ladd, who designed the Pasadena Art Museum (now the Norton Simon).
