We're in Austin, Texas and haven't left the hotel room yet. It's lovely in here and besides that, we're too busy reading Austinist. Brand new to the gothamist network, Ben Brown (Internet Rockstar) is its editor and, at this point, doing it all by himself.
Other gothamist action in Austin this week? Jake Dobkin will be at SXSW and speaking on two panels: How to create a community website and How to create a multimedia moblog. SFist's editor Jackson West is in town. We, and by we we mean me, will be speaking on a panel as well: Blogging while black.

Las Manitas! It's on Congress, cheap and delicious. When I was there for SXSW I saw Ann Richards breakfasting across the room. I blearily understood that if it was good enough for the former governor, it was good enough for me.
I don't know about a taco, but we're putting together plans for lunch on Sunday, of course all are invited.
