LAist loves to watch television and also loves museums, which is perhaps why we love the Museum of Television and Radio so very much. This week the MTR kicks off its William S. Paley Television Festival here in LA, with two weeks worth of boob tube programming on the big screen, with the not-available-at-home bonus of stellar in-person guest appearances and moderated panel discussions. The Festival starts off with a bang with a night of NYPD Blue, with Steven Bochco, Kim Delaney, Dennis Franz, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Sharon Lawrence, Gail O'Grady, Rick Schroder, and many more in attendance, with legendary television producer Stephen J. Cannell serving as moderator. We're guessing that the hottest ticket of the Festival will be next Tuesday's Desperate Housewives, as Carrie Fisher moderates a panel that includes all four sexy hausfraus and several house-hunks.
Tickets are $25 per event for MTR Members, Seniors and Students, and $29 for the general public. All showings begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Directors Guild of America, 7920 Sunset Boulevard. There is a four-ticket limit per person, per event. All seating is general admission; seats cannot be reserved. For sold-out evenings, tickets may become available at the ticket table in the DGA lobby five minutes before starting time.

Hottest ticket? Both DH and Lost sold out so fast that even people waiting in line at the museum couldn't get them.
