No sympathy for the devil!
Paris is the last step in our cultural regression back to animal barbarism. Her torment for our amusement is part and parcel of the Faustian bargain she entered into, to quench her desperate thirst for status and attention. If there were any justice in this world, she'd be stripped of her fortune and forced to work ten years in a Liberian diamond mine.
It would be nice to see corporations taking a little more responsibility for the security loopholes in their protocols. But celebrities have always made poor poster children for privacy rights, mainly because celebrity by definition is a pathology that craves attention.

Paris is a no talent with the best publicity money can buy. Yeah, I just feel so sorry for her when she's vacationing in Aruba, jetsetting all over the world so she can do those damn photoshoots. Life is hard, isn't it?

I'm not concerned about what's happened to Paris because I don't like Paris Hilton. I don't like her kind of celebrity and I wouldn't miss it if people tried to play it down rather than up the way Paris has... really. I don't need 'em.

So, am I worried that someone'll get into my sidekick? No. It would suck, but I'm no more worried about it than I am about people snooping my mailbox.

actually, considering it that way makes us somehow more sympathetic to her problem because, really, who does that?

Did you ever stop to think that Ms. Hilton did this on purpose?
