The Morning's Story: We Saw You Walking in the Rain
There is no other story in the Southland this morning besides the rain. Should we get just a few heavy storms in the next two days, this will become the wettest recorded year in Los Angeles ever. We are currently 4th on the list and have until June to capture that title. Yay for us.
Five have died since Friday in ways varying from mudslides to sinkholes; the South Bay can't handle the elements; and, even the Hollywood freeway was shut down for awhile last night. There are other street closures all over the place but we suppose things could be worse. At least we didn't get a tornado.
You can keep track of the weather with us. We like to think of it as the "Storm Watch" home game.
