Not the Right Mr. Right

Left, Right and Center
has had a lot of trouble with their "right" chair of late and it appears the problem will continue. Tony Blankley is the new conservative voice on KCRW's political commentary program and not very many people are happy about it. Online progressive research site (and media accuracy group) Media Matters for America is so unhappy with the decision that President and CEO David Brock drafted a letter to the station outlining all of Blankley's problems with accuracy, tact, and civil discourse.

Even Los Angeles Times readers are upset with the Washington Times Editorial Editor's arrival to LA airwaves. In response to his editorial in the paper last week, one reader, Lori Morse, wrote "I am going to be 40 in three days, though I fear if I keep reading articles such as Tom Blankley's I am not going to make it."

We're with you, Lori, and we hope you can survive for just a while longer as we'd bet on Mr. Blankley not being around these parts long enough to even get his seat warm.
