Support Independent Music on LA Airwaves

We read today on LA.COMfidential that local radio DJ Raul Campos is in danger of having his show pulled from KCRW because subscribers are not pledging enough money to keep his show alive. We have a few thoughts on the subject that are rather unflattering to KCRW, but we also understand the dire state of radio and the need for funds to keep it running.
Per the article by LA.com Nightlife Editor Alexandra Le Tellier:
"other shows on KCRW that feature artists on major labels like Arista, Interscope, BMG, and Universal are being supported very well by their core audience. It seems like people who like artists on local, non-major labels […] can't afford to pledge."
If you're an Angeleno who is interested in the future of house music, independent music, listener-supported radio, or you're just a nice person who would feel bad for not helping DJ Campos save "Nocturna," call 1-800-600-5279 tonight between 10 PM – 12 AM and pledge money to save his show.
Thanks to Alexandra for the tip. Photo of Raul Campos from KCRW.com.
