What are ya, chicken?

One week before we expect hundreds of folks to protest the inauguration of our Commander in Chief to his second term locally, PETA is doing their own protest against another military man: The Colonel.

Today at noon, the KFC at 3850 Figueroa will be treated to Meat is Murder posters and angry chants from megaphones telling them to get the 'cluck' out of LA. Hopefully there will be people in chicken costumes.

We don't mean to make light of the peril of the chicken (although we must admit that we do love the extra crispy and the popcorn chicken might be laced with crack, we're so addicted) but this is Los Angeles and so we're left to wonder if anti-KFC folks like Jenny Garth and Jason Alexander (who got fired from being a spokesman for the company when he joined PETA) will attend the protest? Will there be an already red carpet for protesters to throw blood on?

Will you be nearby? We'd love to see pics or get some on the scene reports.
