Join activists, journalists, attorneys and public officials to discuss the new government transparency initiative approved by California voters in the November 2004 elections.
LA's political cognoscenti will be pondering deep questions such as "how will the new law affect how city and county lawyers advise their clients," or "how will public prosecutors view local boards' and councils' closed meeting practices," or "how can journalists and their attorneys push for access to public records" or "how can I get this parking ticket validated if I didn't park at the hotel."
