Glatt Mart Under Fire
The fire at Glatt Mart at 8708 W. Pico Blvd. was reported at 11:38 last night and extinguished by 1:10 this morning, Humphrey said.The building, portions of which collapsed, was empty when the fire began, he said.
About 85 firefighters from 11 fire companies battled the fire, Humphrey said. They confined the fire to the market, preventing it from spreading to other structures, including a pharmacy next door.
