At 7:00 PM, the Hammer Museum hosts artist and teacher Klaus Rinke, contemporary of artist Joseph Beuys, as he gives a lecture titled “The Dream—an Ideal Art School: A world school, center for being, art, and creativity,” reflecting on his experience teaching at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf.

At the Troubadour, KXLU presents John Vanderslice with Robbers on High Street and Two Gallants at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $12.00 at the door.

At Amoeba Music, show up at 7:00 PM for a free in-store by Raphael Saadiq as Ray Ray in support of his new album, Rifle Love.

At The Roxy, it's a night of Australians with performances by Ben Lee, Frente, Pony Up and T.E.A. Doors open at 8:00 PM and tickets are $14.00.

For those who can't wait until tomorrow, the ArcLight has a special midnight screening of Ray, the Ray Charles docu-drama starring Jamie Foxx.
