Oy vey. Why eat anywhere in the Grove when a few extra steps will bring you into the Farmers Market? (Late night eats is main exception.) The Farm is o.k. but too spendy for what it is. And why bother living in a big city like LA if you spend valuable time waiting to dine at the C.F.? That hour is better spent choosing among thousands of amazing restaurants within easy driving (hell, even walking) distance. With regards to these types of food issues, I gladly relinquish any last shred of populist creds.

I have to agree with you Jerry. I most likely won't be dining their either. A two hour wait for dinner? No thanks. Speaking of waiting...just wanted to point out that Maggiano's at the Grove takes reservations over the phone.

I guess the thing to do would be, if you want to go to the Grove and eat at the Cheesecake Factory, would be to go straight there, get your beeper, shop for a couple hours, and then eat. So if you want to eat at 8, go to the Grove at 6 and start shopping/hanging out.
