Tonight at Spaceland, have a quiet evening enjoying the music of Alan Sparhawk (of Low), along with Evan (of Parlour/Marjorie Fair) and Dina Waxman (of Space Mtn). Doors open at 9:00 PM and tickets are $12.00.

At the The Fold at King King, KCRW presents eclectic country singer Jim White with Devotchka and The Mendoza Line. The show starts at 9:00 PM and tickets are $15.00.

In film, the Egyptian Theatre is hosting the Korean Film Festival. At 7:00 PM, see the LA premiere of the 2002 film Sympathy for Mr Vengeance by Cannes-prize-winning director Chan-wook Park. There will be a discussion with the director following the film. (18+) At 10:00 PM, see the LA Premiere of the ghost story A Tale of Two Sisters by director Ji-woon Kim.

At the New Beverly Cinema, the latter part of the week features corporate shenanigans and the Iraq war, with screenings of The Corporation at 7:30 PM and Control Room at 10:10 PM.

Head for the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood to see comedian Sarah Silverman's new show, Jesus is Magic, tonight at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $25.00.
