Happy Monday, LAists, and welcome back to the weekday grind. We hope you take advantage of the exciting array of events lined up today to help ward off the workday doldrums.

Tonight at the Troubadour, see a free show featuring Wires on Fire, Werewolf With Robot Hands, Look What I Did, As Night Falls and Belladonna. Doors open at 7:00 PM and patrons under 21 have to pay a $3.00 cover.

In the Knitting Factory Alterknit Lounge, see ex-Weezer bassist Matt Sharp with Goldenboy at 9:00 PM. Tickets are $5.00.

Over at the Greek Theater, drop in to see Jack Johnson with special guests G.Love & The Special Sauce and Donavan Frankenreiter at 7:00 PM.

At the Viper Room, slow things up with The Colour, Mellowdrone, Killola, Decimation of Sound and DJ Jean Lazarus, starting at 8:30 PM.

In film, tonight is a special event at the Egyptian Theatre. "Ken Annakin, the British Director of Miranda and The Story of Robin Hood, celebrates his 90th birthday at the Egyptian Theater" with a showing of the restored 70MM print of Those Magnificent Men and Their Flying Machines, "Anakin's personal favorite of his works." The film will screen at 8:00 PM, preceeded by a special birthday celebration at 6:30 PM.
