Busted in LA Quiz: Don't Worry, It's Not Hard...

crimescene.jpg

L.A. is a diverse, beautiful city with a storied history, full of landmarks worthy of our recognition and commentary. It's also a place where a lot of famous people got busted for doing a lot of stupid things. We therefore introduce a new feature where we test your ability to recognize some infamous local landmarks and identify the crime committed there, as well as the celebrity we mocked incessantly in the aftermath. If we manage to work in another dig or two in the process, so much the better.

We won't jerk you around with this one. Today's question is as easy as they come, but we're whipping it out anyway because it's only appropriate that it be our #1 test. Name the location pictured, and the celebrity who pissed away his good name and flushed his career down the drain at this very spot. If no one can figure this one out, we'll wash our hands of the whole game. So don't be shy now. Show us what you've got.

ooh ooh...I know: Will Rogers Park and George Michael. And I don't even live in LA!

Well, duh! It's the restroom in the beverly Hills park where George Micheal got whacked.... off.

That's a Falcon Water-Free Urninal in the picture. Falcon WaterFree started distributing their flush free urinals in 1999. (www.falconwaterfree.com) George Michael was busted in 1998. There is no way that is the actual urninal present at the time of arrest.

Yeah but where was George Michael on the day that JFK was assassinated?

That's what I want to know!!!!

Lano, your investigative abilities are shocking and amazing.

George Michael is an easy guess, but I think he was caught in a bathroom stall. So I think we should be looking at a toilet instead of a urinal if it was George Michael.

If the Lano posting is correct and the picture is of a Falcon Water-Free Urninal, the City of West Hollywood installed the Falcons in Plummer Park which is on Santa Monica Blvd.
