The following is an LAist Public Service Announcement for LA Times readers, via blogging.la: the online CalendarLive section—previously available only to paying subscribers—is a fee-based service no longer. Apparently there are still some problems with the new system, but apparently registering and signing up for the newsletter allows users to bypass the login glitches and access the content.

Update: Or perhaps not.
