We're still in our public beta here at LAist, and we're making a few changes to our staff makeup. The excellent Marleigh Riggins is being promoted to co-editor: she'll continue to cover local events while sharing responsibility with me for everything else. (The site should reflect this change by sometime tomorrow.) Phil Wallace will continue to cover sports.
We're also still in the process of selecting another contributor or two, and we welcome more submissions! Email me at tom.berman@gmail.com and write a few paragraphs to let us know why you're the right one for the site.
