I'm in Representative Harman's district. I'm really concerned about this choice. Although her argument that the PATRIOT act should be reviewed all at once is good, I'm afraid it is just a stall tactic. I spoke with her staff while the "PATRIOT II" act was under discussion and her staff deflected me and sent me their written response which said they were supporting it. The PATRIOT act goes way to far in invading our personal privacy and allowing a big brother government. I've called her office and asked her to clearly state her position on the PATRIOT act and what parts of it (if any) should be continued after the suset clause activates in September. I urge other folks to do the same. Let's get this topic out in the light of day.
